SPEAKER AND MODERATOR: Tim Grant General Manager Safety Planning & Solutions Group
Mr. Grant is a retired NYC Fire Dept. Captain whose primary responsibility was in Special Operations Command dealing with safety issues, as well as biological and chemical disasters. He is also certified as a counter terrorism expert by The U.S. Military Academy’s Combating Terrorism Center at West Point. Mr. Grant has collaborated on many projects with the Department of Homeland Security regarding potential danger within NYC’s infrastructure. Mr. Grant is a graduate of SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Economics and Management Science.
SPEAKER: Dr. Richard J. Tubb
Dr. Tubb may be the longest serving White House Physician in U.S. history. He was the personal physician to President George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore. A highly decorated veteran, he served in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Brigadier General. Additionally, Dr. Tubb served as Director of the White House Medical Unit and directed all joint service, interagency and international operational assets in, medical contingency planning and execution supporting Continuity of the Presidency and an Enduring Constitutional Government threat planning and responses that included not only 9-11, but also to anthrax, small pox, SARS-1, avian flu, pandemic flu and others still classified. He is internationally renowned and speaks internationally on a host of medical related topics. Brigadier General Tubb is a graduate of United States Air Force Academy and University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
SPEAKER: Jim Traficant
Mr. Traficant is Managing Director of Citadel Sciences and is a Partner at Pinkston. Among his many accomplishments was building Harris Healthcare Solutions from an idea to a health care giant serving government, commercial and international healthcare organizations across six countries. He serves at Johns Hopkins as an executive member of the Innovation Advisory Council. Mr. Traficant earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Geneva College and MBA from George Washington University.
