In 2004, a small group of Long Island real estate professionals conceived
of a new kind of industry organization.


A philanthropic organization with a focus on giving back to the local community by funding real estate projects that make a real difference for Long Island charities and the neighbors they serve.
And a developer-driven networking organization with a focus on building personal relationships in an environment of mutual respect and sharing knowledge.

Today, LIREG has over 400 highly active members and the reputation as the region’s premier organization of its kind. Member benefits include:

Networking

Our membership is composed of Long Island’s most influential real estate developers, owners and professionals.

Events

LIREG members gain access to the some of the industry’s most highly anticipated events every year, featuring prominent speakers who are driving the deals on the front pages of the local real estate press. In addition, we host frequent purely social/networking events as well as more intimate “Inside the Boardroom” luncheons with successful local CEOs.

Groups

We have reached out to increase involvement from all corners of our real estate community, by creating groups focused on the interests of women real estate professionals and our under-40 membership.

Philanthropy

Over the years we have contributed over $1.4 million to real estate projects for dozens of Long Island’s most active and important charitable and health care organizations. Members enjoy the dual benefits of gaining knowledge and professional connections while helping to build a strong future for their community.
